  • The tracks next to the 14th tee and looking towards the 14th green in the ditance
  • Looking towards the 14th green after you have crossed the river
  • The lay-up zone for the 14th standing on the bridge crossing the river

Hole 14

The tee is next to the old Port Alfred railway line and if you followed the tracks you’d arrive at the scene of the terrible Blaauwkrantz Bridge disaster. Instead of that, decide whether you’re going over the river or laying up. The big hitters will easily clear the river, but if the east wind is up, beware! And your 2nd is onto a multi-layered green so you have to be very accurate if you want to make par.
