From The Club Captain

Dear Members Our new financial year starts in July and we have sent out members subs for the next year. The good news for composite members is we will still be offering the 10% back onto your club card when you pay your composite fee upfront before 24 June. The club relies on early payments of subs, especially in the middle of winter when rounds and turnover is lower than normal. We said a very sad farewell to Mark (in the Proshop) and Alison (in the kitchen) at the end of May. The Belmont wishes them well on their new adventure. We welcomed a new Food & Beverage manager Linda on Wednesday and we look forward to what she will bring to the club! Gareth Shaw and Angus McRae joined the hole-in-one board in April - well done chaps! and Andrew Beer got 4 2clubs in one round, so he joins the honoury 2club club. Coming up in June is our ever famous McGowan Cup - a mixed pairs betterball comp - on Sunday 24th June. This comp is popular as it is one of the oldest trophies in the country for a mixed pairs comp! .
